Today I am so excited to share this fun and colorful hat by Crochet Rox.
The Chunky Tiara for Ellie’s Hat is yours for
FREE by downloading the pattern you are pledging to make at least 1 tiara for a cancer patient.
But Crochet Rox is offering even more!
The Basket Weave Hat is also FREE when you pledge to make one for a cancer patient!
Please visit Crochet Rox on facebook and tell her thank you,
favorite Crochet Rox Pattern Shop on Ravelry as well and take a peak while your there.
Many have asked where they can send their hats. There is an organization called Ellie’s Hats, they educate about childhood cancers, distributes hats to kids battling for their lives, and provides support for their families. Please check them out on Facebook!!
You can send your hats to Ellie’s Hat for children to:

Ellie’s Hats

5050 Riding Plaza Suite 130-648
South Riding, VA 20152

If you have made adult sized hats and are still looking for a place to send them you can do a search for “cancer center” and include your location.
If you are still unable to donate them locally, send me, Christine, a message on facebook and I will give you my address and will include your hats in my donation to the local cancer center in Boise, Idaho.
Make sure to check in daily through October for more patterns to complete your challenge.

Thank you so much for sharing the information about Ellie's Hats. The children really enjoy getting handmade hats to wear. If anyone has any questions they can email me at jay@ellieshats.org.
There is a slight typo in the address you listed. It is 25050 instead of 5050.

    thanks again,
    Jay
