Remembering my Grandmother and her love of thread crochet is what inspired the Easter Egg Display Pattern. Each year my Mom displays a large egg with Easter trinkets inside that my Grandma made. It wouldn’t be Easter at Mom’s without that out on the entryway table. I wanted to bring some of that into my own home and so I created a much smaller version with more detailed design and I hope you like it to.

The Easter Egg Display features a chevron pattern around the main part of the egg with a simple pattern on the top and bottom. The bottom is made flat so it can stand by itself. The pattern includes instructions on how to starch (stiffen) the final egg using household items. The Easter Egg Display stands about 10″ tall and is about 8″ wide. What a fun gift for Easter or a great memory your kids can have as you bring out the Display each year.
