Coming Next Week!

I am so excited to announce that I am part of the 2nd Annual 10 Days of Thanksgiving Crochet Event. I love having this opportunity to work with a few of my favorite crochet designers and feature some of our patterns in a 10 day series. Starting on Monday, November 12 and running for 10 days, you will hear what we are all thankful for as we reflect on some of our designs.

Crochet Cancer Challenge – BONUS DAY

9 Comments on Crochet Cancer Challenge – BONUS DAY

WOW-I still cannot believe that October is behind us. The Crochet Cancer Challenge has been so amazing this year. I want to extend a huge thank you to all the designers that helped out, I couldn’t have done this without all of them. MORE important though, is all of you! You, fellow crocheters, are the ones who have made, 1, 2, 3, 15, 30, 60, 100 hats. Each one of those hats is what is making a difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And NOW, I am so excited to announce that we are having a BONUS DAY! Throughout the Crochet Cancer Challenge I had a handful of other designers contact me asking if they could participate. At first I said I would put them on a list for next year. But…. then I got to thinking, who turns away help? Not me! So, today is a Bonus Day where I get to feature some new designers to the Challenge and we are offering some additional patterns in exchange for more PLEDGES!

CPD Designs

Today we have a fun, cheerful and colorful hat design by CPD Designs. Clarissa is joining us for her second year with the Cancer Challenge and I am so happy she came back. I mean, check out how cute her Over the Rainbow Turban is. I love the bold band that makes this hat pop with the bold stitching and then the delicateness of the bow… that combination is just striking. I cannot wait to crochet one today! Today’s pattern was designed by Maria from Pattern Paradise. I am so excited because the Bond Street Beanie was designed just for us! I love the arrows that run up the hat, such a fun and popular look right now. The slight slouch to the hat also adds a bit of whimsical touch, oh, I just love it! The Bond Street Beanie is made with worsted weight yarn and comes in Baby, Kids and Adult sizes. Grab your copy of the Bond Street Beanie in Pattern Paradise‘s Ravelry shop: HERE

Our super cute, Chill Beanie design, is from Sincerely Pam. She created this pattern just for us today. I love the simplicity of the stitches with the cut feature of “chill”.
